Hey cardmaking friends, hope you are having a great weekend. I have 3 cards to share with you today created with the new Spellbinders Postage Edge Dies. These are new die sets out this month with many different shapes: Slimline, Oval, Circles, Rectangles and Squares. Each set has a variety of sizes along with plain dies so you can made frames with them too. A very versatile set of dies to add to your stash.
For my decorative elements, I chose the dies from the recent Sealed Release and a color theme of White, Black, Gold and Fog. I love this color combo, it’s so quietly elegant, striking and really fits to any occasion.

For the background I used the Fan Motif Embossing Folder from the November kits, however, any of Spellbinders Embossing Folders would be fabulous with these layouts.
Spellbinders Postage Edge Dies #1 – Slimline Card
Start by creating a slimline card base in white cardstock. 7″ x 8-1/2″, score and fold at 3-1/2″.
Next, cut the largest Slimline Postage Edge Die from white to create the mat on the card.
Then, cut a white piece 2-5/8″ x 7-5/8″. Ink Blend Distress Oxide Inks in Black Soot and Pumice Stone over the entire surface. then attach to the postage edge die cut piece.
Finally, wrap gold rope around this, before attaching it to the card base with Foam Tape.
Embellish with Sealed Botanical Springs in black and white, Sealed Blooms in Chamomile and Sealed Leaf Springs in Gold.
Next, glue them to the card front.
Finally, create a Gold Seal with the Thanks wax seal and glue over the stems. I recently did a video on the wax seals here
Embellish with Gold Mix Color Essentials Gems.
Spellbinders Postage Edge Dies #2 – Rectangle Card
Start with a white card base 4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2′.
Next, die cut the Rectangle Postage Edge in Fog and attach to the card base.
Then, cut a piece of white cardstock 3-3/4″ x 4-5/8″ and emboss with the Fan Motif Embossing Folder
Finally, die cut a frame with the Fluted Classic Rectangles.
Layer the Fluted Classic piece over the embossed piece and attach with foam tape before attaching to the card base.
Next, Die cut the Sealed Ginkgo dies in Black and gold and attach to the right side of the card.
Then, create a white seal with the For You Wax Seal and attach over the stems near the bottom of the card
Finally, embellish with Gold Mix Color Essentials Gems.
Spellbinders Postage Edge Dies #3 – Circle Dies Card
Start by embossing a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ card front with the Fan Motif Embossing folder and then attaching it to a A2 sized top folding white card base.
Next, die cut the postage edge circle in fog.
Then, die cut the fluted classic circle in white. Cut a second one with the outline dies and emboss it with the Fan Motif Embossing Folder as well.
Attach the embossed circle to the center of the Fog postage edge circle. Add foam tape to the back of the fluted classic circle and attach over it. Attach the entire piece to the card front.
Finally, Die cut the Sealed Blooms in Black and Gold, trim the ends and glue them inside the Circle.
Embellish with Gold Color Essentials Gems and a sentiment using the Sealed Sentiments Clear Stamp Set embossed in Gold on white and fussy cut out.
