Hey card making friends…It’s that time again, Simon’s KISSES RELEASE is LIVE – yes, that’s right, the January release is here.  I’m sharing the Simon Says Stamp Simple Heart Chain Card created with the new Heart Chain Die.  at 7-1/2″ Long it’s a great size for many different card sizes or even your scrapbook pages.   Use the outline chain piece, and/or the pretty hearts that pop out.  I have used both in my card today.

Today’s KISSES release has so many fabulous new products, many with a valentine’s feel, but can be used all year around too.  And of course everything pairs perfectly with last month’s  HUGS release.  I have everything listed on clickable links for you at the end of this post.

I decided to do a gender neutral card today with a pretty rainbow across.  This would also make a great birthday or congratulations card too.

How to create the Simon Says Stamp Simple Heart Chain Card:

Start by watercoloring a rainbow across a piece of watercolor paper 5-1/2 ” wide.

Next, when the paint is dry, die cut the Heart Chain Die to cut out the watercolor hearts.

Then, cut out another heart chain die,  from white cardstock.  This time keeping the outside white chain piece and glue the watercolor hearts into it.

Finally, cut a few more of the heart chains and use the hearts that pop out to decorate the background of the card front.

Adding the sentiment to the Simon Says Stamp Simple Heart Chain Card:

Start by cutting the I Love You from White and then lime green cardstock.

Next, layer them and glue them together

Then, create a white A2 sized card base, 5-12 x 8-1/2″ score and fold at 4-1/4″

Finally, trim off any overhang on the card front and then use foam squares to attach it to the card base.

Then, use more foam squares to attach the sentiment above the hearts.
