Alex Syberia Designs Illuminated Night Sky Slimline Card

I was on a bit of a pastel kick the week I created this card, so we have soft blues, pinks and yellows today, with shots of Polished Brass Glimmer Foil for the bling.

hand made slimline greeting card with blue pink and yellow discs created with new card making supplies from Alex Syberia Designs

How to create the Alex Syberia Designs Illuminated Night Sky Slimline Card:

Products used:

Start by creating a Slimline card base out of white cardstock cut at 7 x 8-1/2″, score and fold at 3-1/2″ long ways

Next, die cut the smaller of the two slimline Stitched dies from Waterfall cardstock to create the mat.

Then, cut a white cardfront panel 2-1/2″ x 7-1/2″.  Lay the Shiny Diamonds Stencil over this and add Gina K Glitz Glitter Gel through it.  When dry, move the clean stencil down and repeat for the bottom section.  When dry, attach to the center of the slimline mat.

Finally, glimmer for the disks in Polish Brass foil onto colored cardstock.  I used Chamomile, Pink Sand and Waterfall from Spellbinders.  Die cut them with the coordianting dies and add them to the card front.
Die cut the Birthday Wish dies in black and pink.  Stack them and then attach them to the card front.

    Hi Sandi,
I love all your beautiful cards. Is there a place in Canada to buy the products you use? I am finding the postage costs more than the items I desire.
    Thank you,
    Phyllis

    1. You can order them through Simon Says Stamps in the USA, they have flat rate shipping, takes about 17 days to reach us in Canada, and there are no duties or extra fees

  2. I love this foil set. When they are on a one layer card they look like fireworks. When you use the die set to cut them out it looks like party pinwheels.

    1. there is no white paper glaze on the foliage holiday cards, they are all embossed with the plate. I have used Gina K’s Irridescent Glitz Glitter Gel on quite a few cards recently.
If you are wondering about products I used, I have a thumbprint list at the end of each blog post.
