Hey crafters, I’m back today sharing a Christmas Boutique Hand made Card. This is the Large Die of the Month Kit for October from Spellbinders and it’s a beauty. So fun to pick colors to die cut this pretty little boutique and then decorate the foliage surrounding it.

There are a huge amount of dies in this set again this month. I used most of them except the picket fence, I decided at the last minute, that I didn’t want another layer. Once you mount all of this to your card base, it’s quite thick, and I personally hate paying extra postage, LOL. However, to see a variety of cards with the fence, Visit the Spellbinders site here:
How to create the Christmas Boutique Hand Made Card:
TIP – I added this all to a card at the end, I started with the base, and built on it until it was completely finished, as I wasn’t sure what color I wanted the base to be.
Start by cutting the base from Rainforest green cardstock.
Next, cut all the foliage pieces from Red, Mint Macaron, Waterfall and white .
Then, add some shadow ink to the foliage Distress Oxide ink: Evergreen Bough and Pine Needles.
Creating the Boutique:
Start with the base layer cut from Waterfall. Then using scissors, cut out just the boutique. Ink blend the edges with Broken China Distress Oxide Ink before gluing down.
Next, cut the windows from Glacier cardstock, the door from red, the door windows from white, the roof, and canopy also from white. NOTE, I had to cut the roof a second time in red, to get the strip along the roof line.
Then, Glue all of this down using Bearly Art glue. Adding the canopy and the trees with foam tape to add some dimension.
Finally, cut the door knob, tree bobbles, plant pot and sentiment all from Gold cardstock and attach. Then glue the entire thing to your card base.
Card Base: White cardstock 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ score and fold at 4-1/4″.
Card front: White cardstock 4-1/4″ x 5=1/2″ embossed with the Embossing Folder October Kit of the Month, Christmas Tile:
