Simon Says Stamp Around the World Cards

Happy 4th to all our fellow American Friends and Family.  Hope you have a fabulous day celebrating.  I’ve got Simon Says Stamp Around the World Cards to share with you today, created with new products from the recent Sunny Vibes release.  I even did one in the traditional Red, White and Blue to celebrate today.

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. See below for my full disclosure.

hand made card with a two tone blue background, a die cut green and blue world with a white sentiment overlay created with new card making products from Simon Says Stamp

For my first card I have combined two new products from this release, the Bold Brights Color Blend Glossy Finish Color Blend cardstock.  It’s the card front, it looks like the perfect ink blended front, with a glossy finish, for those of you who hate ink blending, the cardstock is for you.  It has a nice glossy finish and so many pretty colors.  Second product, the EARTH die.  it’s FABULOUS…cut it out of two colors and overlay and you are done.  It’s also the perfect size for cards or scrapbook pages.

How to create the Simon Says Stamp Around the World Cards – Card #1

Start by attaching the two-tone blue Color blend Glossy Finish card stock to a top folding A2 sized white card base, 4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″

Next, die cut the EARTH from Green and blue cardstock and attach to the center of the card

Then, die cut 3 of The World Needs sentiment glue them together and attach them to the shadow cut from vellum.  Glue to the center of the EARTH.

Finally, stamp the little airplane in blue and cut him out, and use the Nested Hearts dies to die cut some hearts to attach.

Super fast and easy card, I love the BIG sentiment.

Forth of July card in red white and blue with an airmail colored border, a red white and blue air balloon and a air mail tag created with new card making products from Simon Says Stamp

How to create the Simon Says Stamp Around the World Cards – Card #2

Start by using the long border stamp in the Around the World stamp set and stamp the border in copic friendly black ink.

Next, color every second square with either red R29, or Blue B24 copic markers.

Next, stamp, color and cut out the air balloon and clouds and color them with the same markers.

Then, lay the card front into the Misti.  Dry fit the balloon and clouds and add the Air Mail Stamp and the other sentiment, remove the balloon and clouds and stamp in black in.

Finally, attach the card front to a top folding A2 white card front, cut at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, score and fold at 4-1/4″

Use foam squares to attach the balloon and clouds.
