Hey, card-making friends, welcome back. Today, I have an Amaryllis Garden Easy Embossing Folder Card to share with you. This is the Embossing Folder from Yana Smakula’s Amaryllis Christmas Collection, and it’s Beautiful.

I’m also using it for a fun Case Me a Christmas Card challenge with my friend Michelle.  She hosts this annually, we pick a card from each other and case (copy and selectively edit) it and turn it into a Christmas card.  Check below to see which of Michelle’s cards I have cased today.

How to create the Amaryllis Garden Easy Embossing Folder Card

Start by cutting a piece of Hammermill white cardstock 4″ x 5-1/4″, spritz both sides with water, place inside the embossing folder and run it through the Platinum 6 die cutting machine.

Next, once the paper is dry, using ink blending brushes to add the three colors of pink ink up the left side of the card, on an angle.

Then, attach to a top folding A2 sized white card base.  4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″.

Embellishing the Amaryllis Garden Easy Embossing Folder Card

Use Polished Brass Glimmer Hot Foil to foil the sentiment from the Home for Christmas Sentiments.  Die cut out with the coordinating dies.

Next, attach the sentiment to the card with foam squares (cut in half so they fit).

Finally, Embellish with 3 gold sequins.

As you can see, I cased her layout, then the angle of the ink blending.  I did change up the colors I used, and a white and gold sentiment instead of black and white.
