Spellbinders has a whole collection of exciting new releases today, and it was so hard to decide what to create first! As an animal lover, Yana’s Christmas Cats won me over – although I still think it should have been corgis instead of cats! LOL, just kidding! I know Yana adores her cats, and they are absolutely adorable. This card was so much fun to create using several of the new die sets along with the gorgeous A2-Ornate Moulded Frame Embossing Folder.
I think I managed to use a little something from almost every die set in the collection on this one card! Scroll down for all the details on how I put it together.

Products used for today’s Yana’s Christmas Cats Card:
- Christmas Cats Window View
- Christmas Cats Accessories
- Christmas Cats
- A2-Ornate Molded Frame 3D Embossing Folder

How to Create the Yana’s Christmas Cats Card:
Create the Card Base:
Trim a panel of Waterfall cardstock to 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ and emboss it with the A2-Ornate Molded Frame 3D Embossing Folder. Attach the embossed panel to the front of a white, top-folding A2-sized card base.
Die cut and Assemble the Elements:
Die cut the Christmas tree, ornaments, cat, cat bed and broken ornament, then assemble all the die-cut pieces.
Using foam squares, attach the Christmas tree to the card front first. Slightly overlap the cat bed over the lower left corner of the tree, then add the cat resting in the bed. Arrange the broken ornament near the mischievous cat, and scatter the remaining ornaments around the bottom of the card for a playful finishing touch.
Glimmer Foil the Sentiment:
Use a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ panel of Waterfall Cardstock and glimmer foil all of the sentiments with Gold Glimmer Hot Foil. Die cut the foiled sentiments with the coordinating dies and attach one to the upper left side of the card.
Embellish with a sprinkle of Gold Mix Color Essential Gems.
