I’m toning things down for today’s card with the soft pastel shades of Celery and Seafoam Ink to create this Easy Stenciled Leafy Greens Arched Card. These products are part of the new Shine On release from Simon Says Stamp and I had so much fun combining them for this quick and easy arched card design.
Using the A2 Arches creates an elegant card shape, while adding a smaller arched frame helps define the focal area and naturally draws your eye to the center of the design. The frame also gives the delicate die-cut flowers a sense of scale, making them feel perfectly proportioned and allowing them to take center stage.
The stenciled Leafy Greens background adds just the right amount of soft wash of color and pattern, creating a wallpaper-inspired backdrop that ties the design together without competing with the focal elements.

How to create the Easy Stenciled Leafy Greens Arached Card:
Create the Card Base:
Start by die cutting two large arches using the A2 Arches Dies, one from white cardstock and one in Audrey Blue cardstock. Score the white arch 1/2″ from the top, then apply Red Line Tape above the score line and adhere the Audrey Blue arch to create the card base.
Next, stencil a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ panel of white cardstock with the Leafy Green Stencil, first in Celery Ink, then shift the stencil over approximately 1/2″ and ink blend a second time in Seafoam to create a soft layered look. Die-cut this panel with the 3rd largest A2 Arch die and attach it to the front of the card.
To create the layered frame, tape together the #6 and #8 A2 Arch Dies (counting from the largest) and die cut three frames from Audrey Blue cardstock. Stack and glue the frames together for added dimension, then adhere the finished frame to the center of the card front.

Die Cut the Flowers:
Die cut the flowers twice from white cardstock using the Quirky Daisies Die Set. Glue the layes together to add strength and dimension, then attach the flowers to the arched panel with foam adhesive squares.
Add the Sentiment:
Trim a sentiment from the Glow On EZ Strips and adhere it to the lower right corner of the card with foam adhesive squares. Finish the design by adding three Clear Dazzling Gems for a touch of sparkle.
