two white hand made cards with small gold hearts foiled in the background and larger die cut hearts embellishing the centers created with new card making supplies from Alex Syberia Designs

Today’s cards are created with the New Tiny Hearts Hot Foil Plate to create that pretty heart background, and the Quirky Hearts Die set for the large cut out hearts.  There are so many ways you can display these hearts once cut out, I had quite a bit of fun with these.  I cut them from Purple Mist and Mint  and Simon Says Stamp Sea Glass and Matte Gold cardstock and just started playing.

How to create the Alex Syberia Designs Quirky Hearts Card #1

This is a 4 x 4″ card, so start with a 4 x 8 piece of white cardstock, score at 4″ and fold.

Next, cut another piece of 4 x 4″ white cardstock and glimmer foil with Polished Brass foil and the Tiny Hearts Hot Foil Plate before attaching to the card base.

Then use the Quirky Hearts Die set and cut out all of the hearts from the 4 colors.  This gives you lots of hearts to play with.  Arrange a set of hearts on the front of the card and glue them down.

Finally, use the Love Hot Foil Plate and Die set to create the sentiment and overlay that across the bottom of the hearts.  Then embellish with Spellbinders Gold mix Color Essential Gems.

How to create the Alex Syberia Designs Quirky Hearts Card #2

This is a A2 sized card so cut the card base at 4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″.

Next, cut another piece of white 4 x 5-1/4 and use Polished Brass Glimmer foil and the Tin y Hearts Hot Foil Plate to create the card front.

Then, cut the hearts from the 4 colors of card stock and layer them until you get three you like.  Attach them to the front of the card with foam squares.

Finally, use the Friend hot foil plate and die set to create the sentiment to place across the top heart.  Embellish with more gold gems.
