Garden Tweets is one of the new die sets out this month in the SUNKISSED June Release.  There are a great selection of dies in this set for flowers and leaves, and the most adorable little bird.

I’m also sharing two new backgrounds.  The Meadow Magic Cover Die is in the background of the bird card, and the Sunrays Hot Foil Plate is in the background on the tag.  This also has a coordinating stencil which allowed me to perfectly align the colors I added.

Alex Syberia Garden Tweets Card:

Products used:

Start with a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of white cardstock.  Place it over the Meadow Magic Cover Die and run it through the die cutting machine.  Then attach to a top folding A2 sized white card base.

Next, die cut the leaves, flowers and bird and glue them all together before attaching them down the right side of the card.  I hit my scrap bin for all of these.

Then, die cut the sentiment in black and white and add that in the bottom right corner.

Finally, embellish with some colored sequins.

How to create the Alex Syberia Garden Tweets Tag:

Products used:

Start by foiling the Sunrays Hot Foil Plate in Polished Brass Foil onto a piece of white cardstock 4-1/4 x 5-1/2.  with the same foil, foil the HUGS sentiment onto a scrap of white and cut out with the coordinating dies.  Also cut out a black circle to sit behind the sentiment

Next, use the Sunrays Layering Stencil set to add color to the sunrays.

I used Pinkfresh Ink:  Sky Blue, Ocean Breeze, Aquamarine and Mermaid Cove

Next, use the new Signature Tags Die Set to die cut out the tag.

Then, cut out the flower images using the Garden Tweets die set.  I used the smallest set for this tag and my scrap bin for blues and green cardstock.

Finally, layer the pieces onto the tag and glue them down.

Embellish with some gold sequins
