Altenew June Release

Hey card making friends!  I’m excited to be joining Altenew for their release today.  I created a bunch of inspiration using this Altenew June Release.  I’m starting off with these 5 projects today, there is a IG hop tomorrow and I have one more share after that, so LOTS of projects to share.

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. See below for my full disclosure.

Here’s a look at all of today’s inspiration, and I’ll break it down card by card below for you.

Altenew Zero Waste Leaf Potpourri

Start with the Zero Waste Leaf Potpourri and stamp the image in black.  Color with copic markers and then use the die to cut out the images.
Next, cut a piece of cardstock 2 x 2-7/8″ which is the same size as the die.  Use the die cut piece from above as your guide, to glue all the pieces to the background.  Once done, mat with a piece of black card stock cut 2-1/8″ x 3″.

Then, create a white A2 sized card base and attach a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of waterfall cardstock to the front.  Cut a second piece of Waterfall cardstock 4 x 5-1/4″ and use the Baroque Elegance BetterPress Plate and emboss the image onto the card front.

Finally, attach the embossed piece to the card front.  Add a stamped sentiment at the bottom and then attach the art piece.

Altenew Sun Kissed Blooms Embossing Folder and Stencil Set

Start with a white piece of cardstock cut 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″.  Place inside the Sun Kissed Blooms Embossing Folder and run through the die cutting machine.

Next, use blending brushes and the coordinating stencil to add color to the blooms.

Then, color the background with a black marker.  Splatter with white and gold paint and attach a sentiment from the One Go Loving Sentiments Set.

Altenew Flowers and a Flamingo Stamp Set

Start by stamping the beautiful Hibiscus flowers in black ink and then coloring with copic markers.

Next, use the coordinating dies to cut them out.

Then, create a white A2 sized card base and add a black card front.  White heat emboss a sentiment in the top left corner.

Finally, add the florals.

Altenew, Botanical Honey Comb

This is a new Embossing Folder/Stencil combo which is kind of fun.

Start by embossing the card front, then place the stencils over it and add the colors.  Of note, the stencils do not line up well and Altenew is in the process of getting them remade.
Attach to a white A2 sized card base and add a die cut sentiment.
