Hi cardmaking friends. Today is the NEW RELEASE for Colorado Craft Company and you are in for a treat. So many fun new products all with a winter/holiday theme, and so much fun to color too. Today’s card features the new Colorado Craft Company Knitting Bear Stamp and Die combo and it’s adorable. My mother in law has been visiting and when I opened this parcel, she immediately asked for a bunch of cards to take back to her knitting group. SO I got busy and did some coloring. The little penguin is so adorable, he just makes me giggle, LOL. I’m currently knitting a scarf in teal wool, so I colored his little scarf the same color.
I have shared a list of the copic colors I used in today card at the end of the post for you.
Blog Hop & Give Away
It’s also Blog Hop Day for this new release, so grab a coffee and check out all the great inspiration from the design team.
Colorado Craft Company will be giving away a stamp set at every stop on the hop so don’t forget to leave a comment for your chance to win, contest ends Nov 8. Winners will be notified on the CCC Blog.
And, the entire bundle will be given away to one lucky winner. The winner will be chosen from orders placed through design team member links and will be notified directly by email.

How to create the Colorado Craft Company Knitting Bear Card:
Start by using a large blending brush to add Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink to the card front.
Next, splatter it with white paint and set aside to dry
Then, using a Misti, stamp the images onto Hammermill White Cardstock with copic friendly black ink. I used Simon Says Stamps Intense Black Ink.
Finally, color the images with copic markers.
Adding the Sentiment:
The splatter paint should now be dry, so pop the card back in to the Misti and stamp the sentiment in black ink.
Then, use the coordinating dies to cut out the art pieces.
PROTIP: I colored the background of the fire with an N4 marker as having white around the fire inside the fireplace looks weird!
Putting it all together:
Add small pieces of foam tape to the back of all the art pieces.
Next, start by placing the fireplace on the card front.
Then, add the chair, then place the bear in the chair.
PROTIP: – The chair needs to be as far to the left as you can so that the penguin fits on the card without cutting off his scarf. My envelopes allow for a bit of an overhang on each side.
Finally: embellish the scarf and the tuffs in the chair with a white gel pen. My favorite pen “Sakura Gelly Roll #10 (because I get asked that question a lot, LOL).
Copic Markers Used:
Chair: B99, B97, B95, B93 Wood: E44, E43, E40, Scarf: BG18, BG15, BG13, BG11 Fireplace: R95, R46, R35, R20 Bear & penguin tummy: Light gray: N3, N1, N0, Penguin: N9, N5, N3
Cheeks: R32, R30, Fire: YR15, YR 27

I’ve enjoyed reading through your steps and got a kick out of you knitting a teal scarf like Ms. P. Bear! Your brick coloring is so well done (as are the rest of your pieces) and adding the white gel pen embellishments finishes everything off so well. Very fun!
