Hi, crafty friends. Today’s Card-Making Video features two Die-Cut Snowflake Cards; created with new and old snowflake dies from Waffle Flowers. Pink and Mint Green are on trend this holiday season, so I incorporated both colors into my design. I added a little background noise with some stenciling and completed my cards with a fabulously adorable little die-cut snowman and some bling, of course.

Waffle Flower recently had a new release that includes this beautiful Snowflake Cluster Die, along with some very cute snowmen and layering trees (which I didn’t get – and I’m kicking myself, LOL). There is also a great new sentiment set Snow Cheer Sentiments so you can use these cards for the holidays, for winter birthdays, or just to say hi!
The Snowflake Kit Die is from last year’s release and is currently ON SALE at Scrapbook.com for (15.80 Off).

Die-Cut Snowflake Cards: Card Cuts:
As I have done a video, I will keep this short and sweet, LOL. Both cards use the same card cuts:
Card Base: White 4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″
Desert Storm: 4″ x 5-1/4″ (cut the arms out of this piece before you stack the layers together)
Pink Sand: 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ (cut the hat and sweater out before stacking) and 2″ x 5″ to white heat emboss the sentiments.
Mint Green: 3-3/4″ x 5″ (stencil with Embossing Paste and let dry before stacking)
Scraps of Orange for his nose, and black for his eyes.
Die-Cut Snowflake Cards – the little details.
Both large snowflakes are cut from White Glitter Paper. This paper has a bit of a mother-of-pearl or aurora borealis sheen to it and is quite beautiful. I cut one from this paper and another from Hammermill white cardstock and glued them together to create a pretty, and strong snowflake cluster for each card.
The sentiments are white heat embossed onto small pieces of the pink sand card stock before die cutting them with the coordinating dies.
Finally, the stenciled backgrounds are both done with Altenew Embossing Paste. This paste is velvety soft, and the jar doesn’t dry out 3 seconds after you open it, like some others I have tried, LOL.
Here is today’s Card-Making Video. If you love it, please consider giving me a thumbs up and leaving a comment, it really does help with growing my YouTube Channel, and I would appreciate it so much.
