Easy Copic Colored Daisy Birthday Card | Simon Says Stamp

Hello Crafty Friends!
Today I’m sharing a bright and cheerful birthday card featuring the beautiful new Daisy Frame from the latest Simon Says Stamp release, Every Happiness.  This design came together quickly with just a few Copic markers and a little embossing for added texture.  There is also a stencil that coordinates with this set if you would prefer to ink blend.

The floral frame surrounds the sentiment, "Celebrating another year to bloom," on an Audrey Blue oval, layered over a white panel embossed with the Woven Rings Embossing Folder. Copic markers and greenery frame the card in a bright, clean flat lay.

I kept the colors simple, using only three yellow Copics for the flowers and two greens for the leaves, and one pink for those tiny flowers, making this an easy project whether you’re new to Copic coloring or just looking for a relaxing card to create.

To add interest without taking away from the floral frame, I embossed a white panel with the Woven Rings Embossing Folder before layering it onto Simon Says Stamp Audrey Blue cardstock.  The background oval image was cut with the new Chunky Ovals, and I stamped the sentiment in Simon Says Stamp Surf Ink to coordinate with the cardstock.

Sometimes a clean design, simple coloring, and a little texture are all you need to create a beautiful handmade birthday card!
