Ellen Hutson Everything’s Beachy

Hey crafty friends welcome back.  There is a new stamp/die release over at Ellen Hutson today and I’m creating with the new Ellen Hutson Everything’s Beachy stamp and die set.

Ellen’s latest releases have been minimal stamps, and it was fun to create super simple, minimalistic cards with this adorable stamp set.

After all, who doesn’t want to go to the beach right now eh?  It’s been so hot.

How to create the Ellen Hutson Everything’s Beachy Card:

Use the Misti to stamp the surfboards onto white cardstock with Copic friendly black ink.

Color the images with Copic Markers:

Yellow:  Y15, Y19, Green YG01, YG23, Turquoise BG11, BG13, Orange YR04 YR07

Use the coordinating dies to cut the images out.

Hit the scrap bin and trim some scraps into strips to glue along the bottom of the card in the same colors as the surf boards.

Place the card back into the Misti to stamp the sentiment

Use Foam squares to attach the surfboards over the sentiment.

Card front:  Gina K Turquoise Sea 4-1/4 x 5-1/2

Card Base:  Hammermill  4-1/4 x 11, score and fold at 5-1/2
