Hi crafty friends and welcome back. Boy do I have fun projects for you today….Gemini Foil Press Foiled Christmas Cards. Yes I finally got time to play with my new Foil Press and I turned on the video camera to show you what I was creating.

This is also Video #4 in my 2019 CHRISTMAS CARD COUNTDOWN VIDEO SERIES – so have fun with them.
I used the new Picket Fence Studios Foiling and Cutting Die Sets: Falalalaaa, Merry Christmas and Christmas Leaf Bulb for today’s projects (links are listed below for you). What I love about these die sets is they have a die to foil, and then an outline die to cut the piece out, giving you the freedom to place the elements where ever you want.
For the pink card I used Distress Oxide Inks in Picked Raspberry and Worn Lipstick to sponge onto the white card stock before I did the foiling. That’s what creates the pretty two-tone background effect.
Note the Christmas Ball on the blue card has a lot more gold than the pink one. That’s because I used the reverse piece of the same piece of foil to create it and I share how I did that in the video. For this one, because there was so much Bling on the Ball, I used Distress Oxide inks in Peacock Feathers and Broken China on the card front to give it some depth in color.
