Glimmering Autumn Woods

Hi card making friends and Happy World Card Making Day!. It’s one of my favorite days, as the Glimmer Hot Foil of the Month Club is released from Spellbinders too and this month it’s called Glimmering Autumn Woods.

Beautiful leaves, mushrooms and acorns  to foil and then cut out, with a sentiment.  The perfect fall card accessories right?

Don’t forget to check my Paper Crafting Sales Page out this weekend, there are HUGE selection of Sales, free product and free classes.

How to create the Glimmering Autumn Woods Wreath Card.

I started by watercolor spraying a bunch of different colors onto watercolor card stock.

Next,  use the Copper Glimmer foil that comes in the kit to foil the images.

Cut them out with the coordinating dies.

Foil the border on white card using the Scalloped Rectangle Glimmer Plates.

Attach to a black card front.

Finally, Heat foil the sentiment for the center of the card.

To Embellish:

Use the Green Color essentials Gems randomly around the wreath.

Creating the Second Glimmering Autumn Woods Card:

Hot glimmer foil a selection of different colored leaves

Die cut them out with the coordinating die.

Next, Hot foil the Diamond using the Diamond Floral Frame Glimmer Plate and cut it out with the coordinating die

Foil the sentiment as well.

Emboss the card front with the Falling Leaves Embossing Folder

Layer all the pieces to the front of the card and then starting adding the leaves and flowers.

Both are top folding A2 sized white card bases with card fronts added to them.

I hope you enjoyed today’s projects and have a blast creating for World Card Making Day

  1. What smashing cards! Fall colors are so pretty and bold! And that glimmer bling just the right extra touch! Love to see what you do with the new Fireplace set. Can’t you see all the possibilities of new dies for this fireplace scene?

    1. Thanks Mary, those leaves were so fun, I couldn’t stop glimmering them, LOL.
The fireplace set is next….it’s sitting on my work table right now, I’m just deciding on colors
