Hello and Happy Stamptember. Yes, Stamptember starts this evening and I’m starting off with these 3 Stenciled Sunflower Cards. The stencil is from the last release, but the Everyday Sentiments are from Stamptember.
PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. See below for my full disclosure.

This new pack of Everyday Sentiments is a bit different this month. They are preprinted on black or white, as before, however, each sheet is a different sentiment. Happy Birthday, Thank you, Get Well, Love You, and Thank you. This is a great idea as you get so much more diversity from one package of sentiments.
I stenciled the cards in a few different colors, and also showed you a couple of ways you can use the sentiments as well. Top right, I ink blended some Ocean ink onto it to coordinate with the splatter in the background. For the other two cards, I left them white but created matts in the same color as the card fronts.
Stenciled Sunflower Cards – Card 1
Card Base: White – 4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″
Card Front – 4″ x 5-1/4″
Start by using the Sunflower Pattern Stencil to stencil the flowers, leaves and diamonds over the card front. Once stenciled, splatter with the turquoise and brown inks.
Inks used: Pawsitively Saturated Inks, Zest, Honey, Cabbage, Artichoke, Seafoam and Ocean. Flower Centers are done in Latte, Nutmeg and Allspice.
Next, fold a long piece of jute in half and wrap around the card front. Tie off in the front and make a bow.
Then, attach to the white card base.
Trim one of the Everyday Sentiments and ink blend with the Ocean Ink.
Finally, add to the card with foam tape. Embellish with Pawsitively Dazzling Gems in Surf.
Stenciled Sunflower Cards – Card 2
Instructions for card #2 are identical to card #1 except for an added card front in green, cut 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″, no jute and the sentiment is centered on the card.
The gemstones are different as well, these are from the Warm Tones package.
Stenciled Sunflower Cards – Card 3
For those of you who don’t necessarily like splatter. Card #3 is for you. Same ink colors, although I didn’t use the greens in this one, and I’m amazed as to how much different it looks. Plus, I used grays and blacks for the flower center and a white gel pen for the dots instead of the stencil.
That’s it for my shares. There is going to be a Blog Party on Sept 3 so watch for my post on that, with TONS of Inspiration for this Stamptember release.
COLLABORATIONS ALSO START ON SEPTEMBER 3 – and will be released at NOON ET, this year, not at midnight as in the past.
I’ll be back soon with more inspiration for you and tell you what I LOVE and ordered from tonight’s release.

Oh my goodness, those cards are beautiful Sandi! The stencils are amazing and you’ve used the perfect colors! 🙂
Thanks Amy
Love these! They are very pretty and dare I say – summery!
Thanks Sharon, let’s hope so and that summer continues for a bit, haha
Adorable set of cards! I particularly love the one with the blue leaves. Beautiful work girl!
