Hey card making friends, I’m so happy you stopped by today. The new My Monthly Hero kit went live on Tuesday and today I’m playing with the Hero Arts Cockatoo Bundle which is one of the add on sets for July. The info about this months MMH is below as well.
PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.
This fabulous Cockatoo Bundle includes the stamp set and coordinating dies which makes creating cards super easy. You can purchase them as a bundle or individually.
Hero Arts Cockatoo Bundle:
Start by using a Misti to stamp the images in Hero Arts Intense Black Ink onto Hammermill White Cardstock.
Next, color the images with copic markers and then cut them out with the coordinating dies.
- Copics Used:
- Green: YG01, YG03, YG05, YG09
- Brown: E31, E35, E57
- Gray: No, N1, N3
- Yellow: Y02, Y08, Y15, Y19, YR04
Putting the Card Together:
Cut a piece of Hero Arts Paradise card stock at 4-1/4 x 5-1/2. Place into the Misti and stamp the sentiment in black ink.
Next, attach to a top folding A2 sized card base (4-1/4 x 11, score and fold at 5-1/2).
Add a 3 x 3 piece of white cardstock to the center to help frame out your art pieces.
Finally, Use glue dots and foam squares to attach the art elements
