Hey card making friends and welcome back. Today’s card share is Hero Arts Mother’s Day Window Die Card and it’s created with new products from the Hero Arts April Release and My Monthly Hero Kit for April as well.
All supplies are linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links may be used at no cost to you and product disclosure is below. As always, I appreciate your support of my Blog and YouTube Channel.
I created 3 cards covered with these beautiful florals. I love that the stencil set provided in the kit this month can be used with the Bold Print Background stamp along with the coordinating dies that are also included. It makes for super fun and beautiful projects that are perfect for Mother’s Day Cards and Birthdays.
Also, there is 3 x 4 sentiment stamp set included in the kit which I used on the two cards I’m saving for the Global Team Blog Hop on the 22nd. I love how these turned out and I hope you do too. The links are below for the MMH Kit Subscription and the new products released this month.
How to create the Hero Arts Mother’s Day Window Die Card.
First, use the Misti to stamp the background stamp in Intense Black Ink onto a 6 x 6″ of white cardstock.
Next, use the layering stencils to color in the images with the ink pads and blending brushes.
Inks Used: Hero Hues: Grape Slush, Blue Raspberry, Pool Party, Green Apple and Shadow Ink Fresh Lawn
Next, color the bees in two copic yellows: Y15 and Y17
Finally, color in the background with B00.
Use Stickles in Yellow for the floral centers and Crystal for the bees wings to add some glam.
Creating the Sentiment for the Hero Arts Mother’s Day Window Die Card:
The Hero Arts Mother’s Day Window Die is huge and basically covers the front of an A2 sized card.
Start by cutting the image from a 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 piece of white.
Next, use the Nested Oval Infinity Dies the one slightly larger than the die cut to cut out the outside oval
Use liquid glue to attach it to the center of the Arctic Blue card front.
Finally, use the coordinating dies to cut out the flower and bee elements and attach them with foam squares to embellish the card.
