Hi paper crafters, welcome back. Today I have more Cozy Wishes Cards to share with you. I’m once again creating with products included in the November 2021 Cozy Wishes Card kit from Simon Says Stamp.
I decided on one birthday and one Christmas card and I had a blast coloring all the bird houses and mail boxes for these cards. I think this is my favorite card kit so far this year.
As you can probably tell, I am really enjoying this kit, haha. The one thing I have not used yet is the Berries and Leaves 6 x 6 stencil but I’ll save that for another card.
How to create the More Cozy Wishes Cards – Birthday Card:
Start with the Paper Rose Scandi Christmas Double Sided Paper cutting a piece to 4 x 5-1/4 and mounting it to the top folding A2 card base in Soft Navy
Next, use the original Misti to stamp the images onto a piece of white cardstock with Copic friendly ink. I used Simon Says Stamp Intense Black.
Then, color the images with Copic Markers and cut them out. (there are coordinating dies for this stamp set, but they are currently out of stock).
Heat emboss the sentiment at the top in white embossing powder.
Finally, attach all the art pieces using glue dots and foam squares for different depths.
Embellish with Crystal Stickles.
Card #2 is pretty much the same as card one except I used the snow stamp and white heat embossed the snow onto the Navy card base.
Add a snowbank by tearing a piece of white card and attaching it to the bottom.
Next, Cover the tear line with Crystal Stickles
Place the card back into the Misti to stamp the sentiment in black ink.
Stamp color and cut out the images and add them with Foam squares to pop them up a bit.
Finally, embellish with more stickles
You probably recognize Card #3 – I shared the details of this card the other day here:
