More Pawsome Love with Simon Says Stamp

Hi crafty friends and welcome back.  Today’s cardmaking adventure is More Pawsome Love with Simon Says Stamp.  I added the heart Frame overlay from the Window Frames February Card Kit.

Like many of you, as far as “Valentine’s” go, I have one true love, my hubby Ian.   However,  Valentine’s can also be about your Pals and friends and telling them how much they mean to you and how important they are in your life.  So today – I’m making a Happy Pal-Entine’s Day Card and bonus, it’s a shaker card.  Read on and download the PDF to make this simple but fun card.

From the Simon Says Stamp February card kit, I also used the Buttons Galore & More Sweethearts embellishments.

To create the window squares:  The kit contained the Tri Square Die and the Square Shaker Trio Pouch with a roll of Scor tape.

These two items make creating shaker cards SUPER EASY.  Simply die cut the three squares, add tape to the front and back of the trio pouch.  Then attach it to the back of the card front.  Fill and add the backing…..BAM, you’re done.

Included in the kit is this beautiful Polka Doodles Timeless Rose patterned paper that I used for the card front.  I colored the Window Frames heart images with Zig Clean Color Pens to match and attached as an overlay with glue dots.

The sentiments are white heat embossed on scraps of black card stock and also attached with glue dots.

Finally, the little doggy from the Pawsome Love Stamp Set, is colored in copics and die cut with the coordinating die (I love him, he is so sweet).  Then I attached him with bits of SSS Foam tape just to add some depth.
