New Card Making Video – Add Dimension to Your Stenciled Cards

Hey card making friends.  I have a New Card Making Video – Add Dimension to your Stenciled Cards to share with you today.  Waffle Flower was so kind to send me some new products.  Their NEWly released GRIP Mats and some adorable strawberries to stencil.  So I thought I would do a review of the NEW Grip Mat, and share some stenciling tricks at the same time, using the new Grip Mat to stencil.

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. See below for my full disclosure.

NOTE:  If you use my affiliate links to place your orders, please send me an email, @ [email protected].  I would love to send you a hand made card as a thank you.  The tracking system provides very little information, so what I need is the date, the amount, before shipping and after discount codes, and the order number, then of course your mailing address.

Waffle Flower is relaunching their Grip Mats.

They have a new vendor producing the mats, they feel a LOT STICKIER and there are some great new sizes.

There are also some bundles that will save you 10% when shopping. (see thumbnails below).

I opted for the 6.5 x 8.5 Mat and the 4.75 x 6.  Mostly because they fit into my Misti’s.    I use my Grip Mat a lot and for many different techniques, but mostly I stencil with them or use them to ink blend colors onto die cut pieces.  They also work great in my Misti for holding cardstock in place without needing magnets….

As you will see in the video, the new mats have grids to stick to the back of them that are smaller than the actual Grip Mat.  This is so you can still see the grid and your Mat will stick to your glass mat at the same time (brilliant idea).  They are also a lot stickier (as you will also see in the video, LOL).  You get an upper body workout just getting the carrier sheets off, haha.

After using them to create today’s card, I have to say, I honestly love them, I love the new sticky, I love that I can see the grid and it still sticks to my glass mat, and I’m using my old ones as ink pad holders now…..

So, enough about the mats – let’s move on to today’s card shall we.
