New Card Making Video | Simon Says Stamp Elegant Blossoms Valentine’s Card

Hi, crafty friends, welcome back.  Today, I have a new card-making video: Simon Says Stamp Elegant Blossoms Valentine’s Card.  I had a little retail therapy a couple of weeks ago on the Simon Says Stamp website and grabbed some Valentine’s products, some of which I’m sharing here today.  I fell in love with the Papertrey Larger than Life Love die, with the adorable heart-shaped O.  I combined that with the Love to Layer Hearts also from Papertrey.  Three different-sized heart dies in this package, with beautifully detailed edges.  Finally, the star of the show, the Elegant Blossoms floral die set, is so delicate and beautiful.

How to create the Simon Says Stamp Elegant Blossom Valentine’s Card

Start  by embossing the salmon colored card front with the Falling Hearts Embossing Folder before attaching it to a top folding A2 sized white card base 4-1/4″ x 11, score and fold at 5-1/2″.

Next, die cut two of the large hearts in white, glue them together and use foam tape to attach to  the card front.

Then, die cut the word LOVE 3 times from the teal cardstock, glue them together and set aside.

Embellishing the Elegant Blossoms Valentine’s Card.

Start by die cutting the Elegant Blossom Die 3 times, once in green, peach and yellow.

Next, use Simon’s Pawsitively Saturated Inks in Butter, Rhubarb and Artichoke to ink blend the flower centers and the stems and leaves to add dimension.

Then, glue all the pieces together.

Finally, Glue the stem down the right side of the card, then use foam squares to attach the flowers.  Over that, attach the “LOVE”.  Add a sentiment cut from the Reverse All the Love preprinted sentiments.

The reason I ask for that specific info is the system that tracks the sales only gives us a dollar amount and company name, we do not know who made the sale.
