Hi card making friends and welcome back. Today I have a NEW CARD MAKING VIDEO – Simple Winter Foliage Wreath cards. These wreath cards are created with dies from Alex Syberia Designs. The card design is basically the same for each card but I have changed up the colors and sentiments. In the video I walk you through step by step, creating of one of the cards and at the end I give you a short lowdown of what was used in each card.
PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. See below for my full disclosure.
This is kind of a “use your stash” ideas as not all of these dies are Christmas Dies, but you can certainly use them as such. So let’s jump right in and get creating.
This is also a great project for cleaning out your SCRAP Bin of small pieces of cardstock.
How to create the Simple Winter Foliage Wreath Cards:
Start by creating a while Hammermill A2 sized card base. 4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″
Next, cut a piece of blue cardstock 4″ x 5-1/4″ and run it through the die cutting machine with the Meadow Magic Cover Die to create the card front.
Then, die cut all the foliage and berries you need for the wreath. Use a small circle die to draw a light circle on the card front. This will aid you in gluing the foliage down in a circle.
PRO TIP: I have found that 9 – 11 green pieces and 5 berries work for most wreaths.
Finally, cut 3 of the small Pretty Bows, glue them together to create one.
The Finishing touches:
Splatter of course. Use the Gold in the Gansai Tambi Gem Colors pack and gold splatter each of the card fronts.
