Hello card making friends and welcome back. Today I’m sharing a New Video – Multi Layer Stamping with Altenew.
I’m working through the Altenew Educator Certification program and this is lesson two in the All About Layers Class. I’m using the Handpicked Bouquet stamp and die set for this clean and simple 3 layered stamped card.
In today’s video I share how to create the background noise with the Altenew Ink Cubes along with the three layers of stamping.
Next, I use the Misti Stamping Platform and the Layering Guide that comes in the stamp set, to stamp my layers. This makes it a simple process that adds fabulous details, highlights and depth to your stamped images.

Card #2 – Stepping it up a notch:
At the end of the video I share 3 different ways I have used this fabulous image. Above, I used the Simon Says Stamp A2 Thin Frame Dies to inlay a coordinating frame. The second upgrade, I heat embossed the sentiment onto a small scrap of black card and added it with foam tape for a bit of dimension.
Card #3 – The Over the TOP Version:
I created the “SPOTLIGHT” technique by using the Misti to stamp the images twice on two pieces of cardstock. By using the Misti you can get them in exactly the same position which is an important requirement to the Spotlight Technique.
I’m doing a second video for this one as it’s a lot of fun with a fabulous result and of course you could use almost any stamp set too. The video will be ready in a couple of days I’m just finishing it up.
That’s it for today’s share and I hope you will give the stamp layering a try as Altenew has a FABULOUS selection of layering stamps – see them here. You can also purchase their online classes here:
