I have a new Video for you today, Spellbinders 12 Days of Stitchmas 12 Cards & Tags. I finished all my stitching projects, and now that Spellbinders has removed our “spoiler” rule, I am free to share them all with you. The video walks you through all 12 of the projects. As you may recall, I did a blog post for the first 6 a while back here. Today’s post breaks down Days 7 through 12.

As I did a video for all of these projects, I’m just going to add the images below with a quick explanation of the products I used.
The 12 Days of Stitchmas has 12 sets of dies inside a fun advent calendar-type book. A perfect gift for friends who like to stitch, or for yourself. I love to stitch on my cards and today’s video shows you the stitched project for each day, and how I finished it into a card or a tag.
I have linked the Kits below at Spellbinders, Scrapbook.com and Simon Says Stamp. They are on sale in all 3 locations.
Spellbinders 12 Days of Stitchmas – Day 7
This time the stitching die set is a sentiment. It has a large shadow background die, which I have done in white, the word “warm” with stitching holes and then a separate die for the word “wishes”.
I have mounted it to a 4′ x 5-1/4″ piece of white cardstock that has been embossed with the Scenic Poinsettia Embossing Folder, and then ink blended with Distress Oxide Inks in Evergreen Bough and Broken China.
These are all mounted to a top folding A2 sized white card base. 4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″.
Spellbinders 12 Days of Stitchmas – Day 8
The die set includes the large, stitched leaf, the small stitched ornament, the poinsettia die, and the holly die. I have cut and stitched them multiple times to fill up the center art piece of my card.
Next, the card front is embossed with the Holly and Foliage 3D Embossing Folder and then attached to a top folding A2-sized white card base.
Finally, the sentiment is glimmer foiled with Polished Brass Foil, and the plates are Yana’s Xmas Sentiments. The embellishments are Color Essentials Purple Opalescent.
Spellbinders 12 Days of Stitchmas – Day 9
This die set creates these adorable, stitched mittens; with heavily embossed accents on the cuffs. They are quick, easy, and adorable.
The background is a die-cut circle using the Everlasting Circles Dies.
Then, the card front is embossed with the Sparkling Snow Embossing Folder.
Finally, the sentiments are cut from Let It Snow – Handwritten Holiday Sentiments.
It is embellished with red and white cotton Twine also from Spellbinders (this stuff is lovely – nice and thick).
Spellbinders 12 Days of Stitchmas – Day 10
This is my favorite of these 6. The die set includes an outline ornament die, with an insert to cut the stitched piece and the gold hanger at the top.
Cut two pieces, one with the stitched piece inside and one without. Use the plain one to back your piece once you have stitched it. This eliminates being able to see the white background through the stitching holes. These are cut from Spellbinders Waterfall and Pomegranate, the green is Mint from Simon Says Stamp.
The ornaments are stitched with gold thread and embellished with Color Essential Gems in Gold.
Then, the card front is embossed with the Floral Swag Embossing Folder.
Finally, the sentiment is Glimmer Foiled with the Yana’s Christmas Sentiments in Polished Brass.
Spellbinders 12 Days of Stitchmas – Day 11
The stitched wreath and the gold bow are from the Day 11 die set. I added the poinsettia and holly leaves from Day 8 to complete my art piece.
Next, I embossed the blue card front with the Scenic Poinsettia embossing folder, and I love how it coordinates with the die cuts.
Finally, the sentiment is Yana’s Christmas Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foiled with Polished Brass Foil.
Spellbinders 12 Days of Stitchmas – Day 12
Day 12 die set is the fun little cardinal. I cut him in red, ink blended a darker red around the edges, and then stitched him in gold.
I again borrowed the poinsettia; and holly dies from Day * to decorate the bottom of his circle and then used the Scenic Poinsettia Embossing Folder to add some background noise.
Finally, the sentiment is from Let It Snow Handwritten Holiday Sentiments.
Phew, I hope you enjoyed all the cards and tags. These were fun projects to create, although they do take a bit longer than regular cards. I love to stitch on cards, so I found the time enjoyable.
Here’s today’s Card-Making Video where you can see all the projects up close.
