Hi card making friends and welcome back. Today I have an adorable shaker card to share with you created with the Picket Fence New Sleeping Baby Stamp and die combo.
This sweet little fellow is colored with Copics and cut out with the coordinating die. I sponged another piece of card with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide and then stamped the New “View of the Sea” stamp set in the same color to create his quilt.
The Oval for the front panel is cut with Simon Says Stitched Ovals. I attached the baby to the back and then the clear acrylic sheet behind him to create the front of the shaker.
Next, I added foam tape around the perimeter to create the well for the confetti.
For the panel behind the baby, I sponged Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean Distress Oxides before adding some Buttons Galore – Aloha confetti and then attached the panel to seal up the shaker.
The Sleeping Baby stamp set comes with a lovely selection of sentiments as well and the die makes quick work of cutting out your finished art piece. Both are new this week in the Picket Fence Studios March Release.
