Picket Fence November Release

Hi cardmaking friends and happy Sunday to you, hope your weekend is going fabulously.  Today is the Picket Fence November Release of their fun new products and I have a pile of samples to share with you.

Picket Fence November Release.

I’m going to start with my favorite item from this release up first today, the Slimline Plumeria Flowers Stencil.

This stencil is amazing.  I used Pixie Spray to secure it to a piece of black watercolor paper.

Mix up some Gansai Tambi gem colors, until it’s nice and thick, and paint it on.  It was such a fun relaxing hour creating this.

I kept the matting and finishing simple so the art shone through and added a simple sentiment from Fancy Congratulations Sentiments.

It creates a beautiful and simple Slimline Card.

TIP – you can also use Paper Glazes and get a very similar effect.

 

Picket Fence November Release – Aquarius Girl.

Continuing with the horoscope girls, we have Aquarius Girl this month and I have a couple of samples to share with you.

Card #1 Aquarius Girl:

Ink blended the background with Distress Oxide Inks in Villainous Potion, Broken China and Pine Needles.  Add some splatter.

Gold embossed the symbol in the sky and die cut the word Aquarius in gold for below to balance out the bling.

Next, add gems in Oceans of Green, Sands of Time, and Purple Side of a Rainbow.

She is also colored with copic markers, die cut with the coordinating die and attached with foam squares for some added depth.  I used purple gems for her earrings too.

Aquarius Girl #2

Also copic colored.  The background is created with a NEW Geo Label Cover Plate die which I just love.

 

Mini Slimline Double Stitched Rectangles

NEW this month, a new die set for Mini Slimline Double Stitched Rectangles.

Mini Slimline Cards are all the rage right now so it’s fabulous to have dies for them right?

 

I combined the new dies with a “mail theme” using the Raining Envelopes and Mails Here stamps.

I turned it into an edge to edge shaker card and used the NEW Snail Mail Sequins.

There are little ceramic envelopes in this sequin mix that are so adorable and fit perfectly with my red/white/black mail themed card.

 

Finally, the Hello There sentiment dies included in the Mini Slim Line Double Stitched Rectangles Die set are the perfect finishing touch.

Die cut them 3 times, stack them and glue them to the front of the shaker.

 

Next Up, A new Iconic Beauty – say hello to Kiara

Isn’t she beautiful.  Start this card by using the new 6 x 6 Plumeria Flowers Stencil (there are two sizes in this release), and added a rainbow of colors using Life Changing Blending Brushes.

Next, Use a Misti and black ink to stamp the Kiara silhouette onto the card.

Attach it to a black card base and embellish with colored hearts from the new I heart Mail Sequin Mix.

 

Picket Fence November Release – A Wreath for All Seasons

This beautiful new A Wreath for All Seasons Stamp is amazing.

To make this card, white heat emboss the image on either end of the card front.

Next, use Life Changing Brushes to add Worn Lipstick and Ripe Persimmon Distress Oxide Inks and blend them out.

Gold heat emboss the sentiment from Fancy Daily Sentiments onto a piece of vellum and secure to the front.   Finally, embellish with gold sequins from the Pumpkin Cookies Sequin Mix.

I’m also looking forward to black embossing this beauty and doing some detailed coloring on it.
