Picket Fence Studios Christmas Poinsettia Star

I stamping friends and welcome back.  Today I have another 10 Minutes to WOW card for you, and it’s another in my 2019 Christmas Card Countdown.  I created it with the Picket Fence Studios Christmas Poinsettia Star stamp.

This is a HUGE stamp creating this beautiful Poinsettia and for today’s card I white heat embossed it onto a 4-1/2 x 6-1/2 piece of white card stock and did the Embossed Resist Technique.  However, this stamp could be used for a variety of different techniques. (And I have another one for you next week).

Next I used my Life Changing Brushes to blend two Distress Oxide Inks Worn Lipstick and Picked Raspberry across the piece.  Once I was done, I used a dry piece of paper towel to rub off any ink sitting on top of the embossed image.

The die cut “Merry Christmas” is from My Favorite Things  and a sprinkle of Simon Says Stamp – “Girl’s Best Friend” irridized sequins.

Finally, the dots in the flower center are created with the Nuvo Dream Drops – Cloud 9 – it has a mother of pearl finish on it, that coordinates beautifully with my pink background.

This is all mounted to a 5 x 7 white card base.

Simple, beautiful, and fabulous for mass producing in a variety of colors don’t you think?
