Pinkfresh Class Cards

Hey cardmaking friends.  Thanks so much for stopping in.  Today I have some Pinkfresh Class Cards to share with you.  This past weekend I was fortunate to be able to attend a two day online class with Pinkfresh Studios.  We received a fabulous box full of “yet unreleased” goodies and swag for the event.  Then we had two days of live online classes with a variety of talented instructors walking us through creating these amazing projects.

Most of these products have not been released yet and I will do another post with some additional color combinations when they are.  P.S.  I think they are coming soon!….

Pinkfresh Class Cards – Handpicked Flowers.

This was my favorite class and it was on Sunday morning.  It was a no line watercolor class with the amazing Manushree Mishra.  This girl does amazing things with a paint brush and she taught us all kinds of neat little tricks.  I know I’m going to be practising more with this technique.

This stamp set also has coordinating dies and coordinating stencils.  So even if you have no art talent whatsoever, you can make stunning cards.  Pinkfresh has quite a few sets like this  and you can find them on their website under Stencils with Coordinating Products. I have linked a few of my favorites at the end of this post for you.  I’ll also be doing a video with another set I have with this stencil/stamp/die combo because I just love this idea.

Once I finished my watercoloring and die cut the piece out, I mounted it onto a mini slimline card with layered frame die cuts using the NEW Essentials Mini Slimline Frame dies.  This is a fabulous way to add some “background noise” to your cards with minimal work.

PS, check out the embellishment tray.  It’s brass with a beautiful etched design in it and NEW clear round jewels too.  ( I think they said they were releasing these as well – they were part of our swag for attending class).

Pinkfresh Class Cards – Peony Fantasy

This was another amazing class taught by Cannin Pelletier.  The Peony Fantasy Bundle is another stamp/stencil/die bundle offering lots of ways to expand your creativity with this set.

Again, once it’s live in their store, I do another post with more color combos and card layouts for you.

Peony Fantasy Card 1

Again, another mini slimline card and using the double die cuts with the Essentials Mini Slimline Frame.

Behind this, I used the Geo Arch hot foil plate and dry heat embossed my background.  Doesn’t that provide some beautiful background noise for these fabulous florals.  And its cool you can do two techniques with one of these foil plates.  Stay tuned, I’m coloring a background I hot foiled with this too.

These two cards use the stencils and layering inks coming back and stamping over the colored images with the stamp set to really make the images pop.  So fun and so very easy to create beautiful cards.

Peony Fantasy Card #2

Again, the layered stencils/stamps/dies were used to create the beautiful florals for this card.

Next, another new die, the Essentials Ornate Circle Die was cut twice and layered for the background noise.

Next, for the sentiments, yep, another new stamp set called Heart Smiles.  It has a great selection of sentiments for almost any occasion and some fun fonts too.

I have more cards to share with you very soon, and some I have not even put together yet.  It was a long weekend up here, so Ian and I spent Monday working on our main floor renovation in our house.  We are at the “putting back together” stage, with all the doors painted, and I have to paint more baseboards and trim so we can get that up too, Yeah!.  On to finishing painting the deck.  Yes, we build a new deck a couple of weeks ago, you can catch the progress of that installation over on my Facebook page.  I can’t wait till it’s finished so I can sit out there and craft.  Summers are short up here, and the days are long.  We presently have over 15 hours of daylight…so we take full advantage.

  1. Hi, Sandi –
Your cards are lush and beautiful! Love the backgrounds you chose, too. I did not see a brass embellishments tray when I looked at the new release, but I might have simply missed it. I had to be choosy b/c I spent too much in the first qtr this year on this hobby and our house needed a few things, so I have decided on the Stained Glass die/stencil items for this purchase. Would love to get the peonies or the Painted Daisy.
Thanks for always inspiring all of us!

    1. Hi Lori, thanks so much. The Brass tray was part of our swag for attending the online class, they did say they may be releasing it but they didn’t give a date. I also ordered the Stained Glass and the Painted Daisy, HAVE to play with those.

  2. Stunning cards Sandi! All of them are totally gorgeous. I’d have loved to attend this class but sadly it’s not in my budget. Beautiful cards and I look forward to seeing more when you share. You made the already lovely Pinkfresh products shine even brighter!

    1. thanks so much Lisa. Yes, I admit, I used up my allowance for a few months signing up for this class, but it was so worth it and everything we received is awesome and can be used in so many different ways. I love their florals, so I’m always happy when I’m stamping with PF
