Sending You Love

Hi Crafty friends and welcome back to my cardmaking blog.  Today I am “Sending You Love” and it’s a 10 Minutes to WOW all in one card.  So read on on how to create this quick and easy card and download the FREE PDF too.

Sending You Love

Isn’t it pretty?  I added a few new dies to my last Simon Says Stamp order and they are all from Memory Box.    So here is card #1 created with a couple of them and a fabulous new embossing folder too;

The White Leaf overlay is cut three times and stacked.  That die is Leafy Heart.  I thought it went beautifully with that embossed background.

The cotton Candy background is a New Embossing Folder – Heart Bouquet – Also from Memory Box.  It’s an extra thick embossing folder so it really pushes that beautiful design into the card stock.

Once embossed, I used a sponge dauber and some Gina K Premium Pigment White ink to highlight the embossing just a touch.

The Overlay of the gold Glitter “LOVE” is also Memory Box, Love Airy Script.  I only cut it once as the glitter paper is already quite thick.

I used white glue to attach it and then added one of the sentiments from the SSS – CZ Designs Sentiment Strips from the “Love you More” release.

5 passes through the Die Cutting Machine – a little adhesive, and it’s 10 Minutes to WOW.  Easy and beautiful – my favorite card combo, and this is not just for Valentines, you could use this card any time of year.
