Hi there and welcome back to my card making blog. I have some fun for you today with NEW Simon Says Stamp Chillin Gnomes! Yes, the gnomes are back, and this time they have gone to the beach!….

How to create the Simon Says Stamp Chillin Gnomes Card:

I colored my little fellow with copics and cut him out.

Reds: R11, R24, R27, R29, R39
Green YG05, Yg67
Skin E51, E53, #13
Shorts: Turquoise: BG121, G13, BG18, Yellow Y15
Hat: T1, T4, T5, T6
Sunglasses T6
Underside of Mushroom: E50, E53, E31, E43, E57

Building the Scene:

Next, die cut the background with the Stitched Rectangle Wafer Dies before blending Distress Oxide Inks in Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass. Splatter that with water and white paint.

For the grass, blend Mowed Lawn and Cracked Pistachio onto a quarter sheet of card and die cut out two pieces with the Grassy Edges dies from Simon.

Once cut out, blend a bit of Pine Needles Distress Oxide Ink to the tips just to darken them a bit. then again splatter with water and white paint.

When this is dry, use a Paint Pens in yellow and pink to add some flowers in the grass.

This is the adorable Chillin Gnomes stamp set and there is a coordinating set of dies in this release as well.
