Hey card making friends. Tonight’s share is Simon Says Stamp Fancy Ornaments Embossed Card as part of tonight’s New All the Joy Release. This release goes live at midnight tonight, full of all kinds of fun holiday products to get your creative juices flowing.

For today’s card, I used the New FANCY ORNAMENTS Embossing Folder. Then I used a technique I shared a couple of months back on my You Tube Channel.

In the video I start with a watercolor piece. For today’s card, I decided to create a multi color background using some of the new Lindy’s Magicals on watercolor paper : Pass the Jam Jane, Crumpet Crumbs, Pinkies Up Pink, Cheerio Cherry and Lizzy’s Cuppa Tea Teal.

How to create the Fancy Ornaments Embossed Card:

Start by watching the video. For the first step, I did not add any ink to the embossing folder, I just embossed the watercolor paper colored with the Lindy’s Magicals.

Next, I gently rub the embossed surface with a VersaMark Ink pad and add gold embossing powder. Do small sections at a time to control the powder.

Then, color the background with a black sharpie. Some of the spots in the background show a little purple, I’m guessing due to the color of Lindy’s Magicals underneath.

Finally, use Gansai Tambi gold paint and splattered the entire front of the card.

Cut the Large Joy sentiment from Matte gold cardstock and the shadow from vellum. Glue in the bottom right corner
