How to create the Simon Says Stamp Halloween Friends Hand Made Cards Card #1
Start by stamping the images in Copic friendly black ink onto Hammermill white cardstock, color the images and then cut them out.
Next, using a Misti, lay the art piece in and secure it. Stamp the Moon in Honey Ink. Let dry, without moving the card stock, then ink the moon again in VersaMark Ink, stamp, cover with clear embossing powder. Shake off the excess and heat set.
Then, Stamp the two bats in VersaMark Ink, cover with black embossing powder, shake off excess and heat set.
Finally, using a blending brush, add Galaxy ink over the background. As we heat embossed the bats and moon, the ink will not cover them, and any ink sitting on top of the embossing is easily wiped away with a dry cloth. This is called the Embossed Resist Technique. Stamp the sentiment at the bottom of this piece before starting to layer the card pieces.
Attach the art piece to the mat, then add foam squares to the back before attaching it to the patterned paper covered card base. Then add foam squares to the back of Frankie, the pumpkin and candy corn and attach them across the left side of the card.
How to create the Simon Says Stamp Halloween Friends Hand Made Cards – Card #2
Start by using a Misti to stamp the Happy Halloween sentiment. Then, starting on the right side of the card front, stamp the candy corn, then open the Misti, and move the card stock a bit to the right to stamp the second, and subsequent candy corns. Once the black ink is dry, color the images with Copic Markers.
Next, stamp the kitty, color him in gray inks and cut him out.
Layer all the card bases together, attach the art piece to the mat and then use foam squares to attach to the card base.
Finally, use foam squares to attach the kitty.
