Simon Says Stamp Happy Fall Y’all

I’m so excited I finally received my Simon Says Stamp Happy Fall Y’all Card kit.  I swear the post office is holding stuff so they can stamp and play before they deliver!….  anyway, I busted into it and I have a fun card to share with you today.

Once again, the October Happy Fall Y’all Kit is full of Fabulousness.  I especially love the large 6 x 8 stamp set of the same name, and the second Loving You From Afar stamp set is also adorable.  Hopefully I can squeeze in a card with that one soon too.

 

First I stamped all the adorable images onto Neenah Solar White 80# card and used my Copics to color them.  It’s a huge 6 x 8 stamp set so lots of fun images to play with.

I slimmed my choices down to my Pumpkin Latte swilling bear and will save the owl for the next card.

The die set isn’t included in the kit and will probably be released during October, so I fussy cut out my images which only took a few minutes.

I used the Simple Stories Cozy Days pattern paper in the kit for my background and my tree, I love all the textures and this paper just has that fall feel to it doesn’t it?

To add the sentiment I decided to stamp it in black ink directly onto the background as my art pieces provide plenty of 3-d depth to my card.

I love that this card is neutral and would be awesome for any of my friends, male or female.

Copics Used for the Simon Says Stamp Happy Fall Y’all Card:

Teal:  BG11, BG13, BG49

Orange:  YR15, YR014, YR18

Yellow:  Y13, Y19

Brown:  E53, E34, E35, E37

Red:  R05, R27, R29

Green:  G21, G24, G28

I used simple blending for all the images.  For the brown part of the bear, once I had it blended, I used my 0 pen in a circular motion to make him look fuzzy
