Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Sunflower Basket Card:
For my STAMPtember® Blog Party project, I’m featuring several fabulous new products from the latest release, starting with the Sunflower Basket Die Set.
I’ve been loving 5-1/2″ square cards lately, and the larger format gave me plenty of room to build this beautiful basket of flowers. Instead of going with the traditional golden-yellow sunflowers we usually see this time of year, I decided to change things up and create white sunflowers. I love how fresh they look paired with the bright greens, aqua, and teal.
For a little extra detail, I used the new Pumpkin Wreath 3D embossing Folder on the background behind the basket. Along the right side, I layered Mint, Waterfall, and White cardstock cut with the new Torn Paper Border dies, which adds some fun texture without competing with all those dimensional flowers.
The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the new Golden Sunflower Stamp and Die Set, and a simple twine bow was the finishing touch.

Oh WOW Sandi, Your card is simply stunning !!! The card is anything but simple but it is absolutely STUNNING. I love Sunflowers and I adore that you chose to make them white and not the traditional yellow gold variety, the white goes so well with your chosen greens & aqua’s. I love a torn edge and SSS made it so easy to not only make one torn edge but three, I love seeing the way you used three layers of torn edges together. FABULOUS card Sandi !!!

Simple, bright, with a glow from the blues. It’s so charming to see a flower basket and white sunflowers. It’s unique because I don’t think I’ve ever seen sunflowers like this. I love the embossed background and the shading you added to the basket and the flower petals. Beautiful design.
