Simon Says Stamp Unfrogettable

Hey crafty friends welcome back.  Today I have Simon Says Stamp Unfrogettable to share with you.  haha, no that’s not a typo.  This stamp set is called Simon Says Stamp Unfrogettable and it’s so adorable.

Tons and tons of frogs.  They are so cute and they have the cutest set of sentiments too.  it’s a large 6 x 8 brand new stamp set as well.

I had a lot of fun with it and created three cards to share with you today.

and check out the NEW BLENDING BRUSHES from Simon – details and links at the bottom of this post

Simon Says Stamp Unfrogettable Card #1

I love this little guy taking a time out and floating down the river in a leaf….with his pal Mr. Dragonfly.

To Create the Water:

White heat emboss the waves from the stamp set 1/3 the way up the card.

Use Simon’s New Blending Brushes to add Distress Oxide Mermaid Lagoon Ink to create the water.

Wipe any ink off the white embossing.

To Create the Clouds:

Use the Simon Says Stamp Build a Frog Pond 4 x 9 stencil.

Use the stencil and the blending brushes to add Tumbled Glass Distress oxide to the sky.

Move the stencil back and forth so that the clouds are different each time.

Copic Coloring the Images:

Copics were used for all the images and I decided that this image was easier than listing them all, haha

Simon Says Stamp Unfrogettable Card #2

I used Trinity Stamps Frog Embellishments, Acetate and Darice Adhesive Foam Strips . for card two and made it into a shaker card.  Add to that, the Googly Eyes, and you have the Hoppiest birthday shaker card ever.

Use the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle Wafer Dies and Nested Circles Wafer dies to cut the card front.

Use the Misti to stamp the sentiment

Next add the acetate to the back of the circle.

Next, apply the foam strips around the circle, and then around the edge of the card.

Attach a 3-3/4 x 5″ piece of patterned paper to the front of the top folding A2 card.

Pile the sequins in the middle.

Finally, Add the card front.

This seals in the embellishments and creates the shaker card.

Color and cut out some froggy bits to add to the front of the card.

Finally, Stamp the sentiment and then add the piece to the card base.

And did I mention Simon’s new Blending Brushes?  haha, I’m pretty excited about these can you tell? NEW colored blending brushes.

No more guessing what color is on your brush – there is even a gray and a black….
