Hi, card-making friends. I have a Simple Poinsettia Swag Christmas Card to share with you today. The Poinsettia Swag Stamp and Die set is NEW with the Simon Says Stamp Festive Fun Release, which went live last night. It’s chock full of lovely new products to inspire and keep you creating.
Sorry, this is a day late. Life got in the way, and you know how that sometimes goes, right? ANYWAY, here we are. I finally finished and photographed the card.
PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. I’ve included my full disclosure below.
For today’s card, I stamped the image onto Hammermill white cardstock with Simon Says Stamp Intense black ink. Then I colored it with copic markers before die-cutting it with the coordinating die.
Copic Markers Used: Pinks: Rv63, V05, RV66, Green: G21, G28
Products used:
Poinsettia Swag Stamp and Die Combo
Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink
How to create the Simple Poinsettia Swag Christmas Card:
Start with a dark green card front cut at 4 – 1/4″ x 5-1/2″ and attach to a top folding A2 sized white card base. 4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5 – 1/2″
Next, splatter with gold and white paint and set aside to dry.
Then, using a Misti, stamp the Poinsettia Swag Stamp onto Hammermill White cardstock with the Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink. Once the ink is dry, color with the copic markers.
Finally, cut out the swag with the coordinating die. Then, use the Corner Pine Frame die, to cut out 3 pine branches from Mint green cardstock.
Simple Poinsettia Swag Christmas Card – Adding the Sentiment.
Start by die-cutting the shadow from matte gold cardstock and the word “peace” from a pink that is close to the color of your poinsettia.
PRO-TIP: If you don’t have cardstock that is close in color, take a scrap of white and color it with your copic markers for a perfect match.
Next, layer them together.
Then, use white glue to attach the pine branches to the top right corner of the card. Next, overlay the Poinsettia Swag secured with foam squares.
Finally, use foam squares to attach the sentiment in the bottom left corner.
Embellish with Stay Gold Sequins from Simon.
This is a reasonably quick and easy card. It took me about 25 minutes to make. You could mass-produce it, by doing each step multiple times, ie: color all the flowers, cut out all the flowers, cut out all the pine branches, etc……In about 3 hours you could have 10 cards.

The reason I ask for that specific info is the system that tracks the sales only gives us a dollar amount and company name, we do not know who made the sale.
