Hey stamping friends welcome back. My share today is a Slimline Card and Graciellie Designs, Hey Lovely digital stamps.
First can I say, welcome back to Slimline cards. I have been stamping for over 30 years and way back then, we made this size of cards because they fit into the then called “legal envelopes”….they are a ton of fun as you have much more real estate to create on…

My project today includes Graciellie Designs Digital Stamp, Hey Lovely. I’m fairly new to Graciellie Designs, and love her images. My friend Natasha Vacca introduced me to them through her beautiful artwork.
Graciellie Designs has a Digital Online store you can purchase the images from, download them to your computer and then open a word document, resize them, add backgrounds and sentiments and then print them off on your favorite paper. I used Canson 98 # Watercolor paper for today’s images.
You can also get Graciellie Designs stamps in stamp form from the Unity Stamp Company. I’m not an affiliate of either, but I sure like their designs.
The images are colored with Altenew Artist Watercolors 24 Pan set and then cut out.
Next, I created my card base from Simon Says Stamp Royal Purple card. I cut it at 7 x 8-1/2 and then scored at 3-1/2 to create the 3-1/2 x 8-1/2 slimline size.
Finally, for my background I decided on Vicki Boutin Mixed Media Paper and cut that to 3 x 8, the same with the Gold Mirror Foil paper tucked in behind.
For the sentiment, I white heat embossed it onto a piece of 3 x 2 black card stock. It’s from Simon Says Stamp Sketched Flowers stamp set.
Once everything was attached to the card, I mixed water and gold paint from the Gansai Tambi Gem Colors watercolor collection to splatter over the card front. I love the added BLING….
SLIMLINE CARD BASICS:
- size: 3-1/2 x 8-1/2 – Card Base
- 3 x 8 – art piece size for front of card
Fit inside the 4 x 9 1/2 Business Envelopes, referred to as #10 or you can make your own
Simon Says Stamps has a variety of colors in the Slimline Envelope Line
Pinkfresh Studios also has a line of Slim Dies for the card front pieces – see them all here:
I have some of these coming, so I’ll be back with more SLIMLINE CARDS created with these dies
used for the Slimline Card and Graciellie Designs :

Just beautiful Sandi! The colors are perfect, love those flowers! 🙂
thanks Amy, Love these digi stamps
This is BEAUTIFUL! I would love to try it but have never used a digital stamp before. The heaviest cardstock I can get to work with my printer is only 65 lb – which I think is too flimsy. What kind of printer do you have and what weight cardstock do you put thru it?
Many thanks, Sandy!
Hi Amy, thank you. I have a canon image plus laser printer and I put a variety of card through it. For this one, I used 80# Canson cold pressed watercolor paper through it. Look for a printer that you can hand feed a piece through
Wow – this is just BEAUTIFUL! I love the purple blooms and that background is amazing too!!!!!! Thank you so much for the tag in your post too! Your the best!
Thank you Natasha and you are so welcome, it was your cards that drove me over there, LOL only fair to share
