Spellbinders A Tweet Congrats

Hey cardmaking friends, and welcome back.  Today I have Spellbinders A Tweet Congrats card to share with you.  This card is a combination of three of the September Kits.  I used the Clear stamp set of the month for the little bird.  The September Glimmer of the month Kit for the sentiment and the Small Die of the month for the floral die cuts.

The glimmer foiled circle background is a plate from the May 2021 Glimmer of the month kit.

Many of the monthly kits from Spellbinders coordinate with each other and this month is no exception.

I decided on the congrats sentiment because I could use the card for many different happy occasions.

How to create the Spellbinders A Tweet Congrats Card:

Use the Spellbinders Glimmer Foil System to foil the circle background and the three pieces needed for the sentiment.

Visit my How to use the Glimmer Hot Foil Machine page for more information on Foiling.

Stamp the bird onto white cardstock using the Misti and color him with Copic Markers

Next, use the small and large flower dies to die cut the florals and leaves

TIP – the leaf die has two circles, so I saved those pieces to place inside the circles.

Finally, glam up the flower centers with the Gold Mix Self Adhesive Crystals.

This is quite a fast and easy card to create and I love the bright greens and blues on the white background.

Don’t forget to foil the envelope and add a bird or two.

You can order the Spellbinders September kits until September 24th.  They have some combo Value Clubs which are a fabulous discount and save you money on the kits as well as shipping.

Here are a few other cards I have made this month using the kits.

  2. Very tweet card, Sandi! Love it but just can’t get into foiling at the moment. Already have my hands full paying for stamps, stencils and dies. Your card is excellent. Thx for sharing.
