Today I’m sharing more card making tutorials made with the Spellbinders Die of the Month, Glimmer of the Month and the Embossing Folders for the month. These monthly club kits coordinate so well together it’s fun to mix them up. See below for details for each of today’s cards and instructions on how to make them.

I am continuing on using the Color Cube card for my color choices again for these three cards in the series. This time Card #392. Using the same color combos but in different elements on each card. I find these cards very useful for choosing my colors as I shared in this post. For the first card I added gold highlights as the actual DMC Cotton skeins have a gold and black label on them.
Products used in today’s post:
- One Stitch at a Time Embossing Folder
- Faux Stitched Petal Embossing Folder
- Faux Stitched Sentiments & Floss Die of the Month
- Pins & Needles Jar – Large Die of the Month
- Sew Amazing Glimmer of the Month
- Polished Brass Glimmer Hot Foil
Spellbinders April 2024 Die of the Month Card #1
Start by die cutting a card front from Pink Sand card stock 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″, emboss it with the Faux Stitched Petal Embossing Folder and then attach it to the front of a top folding White A2 sized card base (4-1/4″ x 11″ score and fold at 5-1/2″.
Next, die cut the skeins using the Small Die of the Month Club – Faux Stitched Sentiments & Floss, from Pink Sand, Dahlia and Pomegranate cardstock. Cut the labels from black and gold cardstock. Layer them together and then attach to the left side of the card
Next, using the Sew Amazing Glimmer Hot Foil of the Month kit, glimmer the sentiment in Polished Brass Glimmer Hot Foil onto black cardstock. Cut out with the coordinating die and attach to the card front.
Then, die cut the scissors and thimble from Mirror Gold card stock and attach to the card as shown.
Spellbinders April 2024 Die of the Month Card #2
Start by cutting a white card front 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ and embossing it with the One Stitch at a Time 3D Embossing Folder for April. Attach it to the front of a top folding A2 sized white card base cut at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored and folded at 5-1/2″
Next, using the Large Die of the Month Kit – Pins & Needles Jar die cut the skeins from Fog card stock and then the embroidery cotton die from the three pinks: Pink Sand, Dahlia and Pomegranate. Glue them together and then use foam squares to attach them to the card front.
Then, add another sentiment glimmer foiled in Polished Brass on black from the Sew Amazing Glimmer of the Month Kit.
Finally, die cut the needle and thread and buttons from the Large Die of the Month Kit – Pins & Needles Jar and attach them as overlays
The third card is the April 2024 Stitched Club of the month, and I shared the details of that card here.
