Spellbinders Birthday Bliss Die Cut Card

Hello, my crafty friends, and welcome back to my blog. My share today is a Spellbinders Birthday Bliss Die-Cut Card. I’m getting an early start on the November Club kits today, and I combined three of them for this card: the Small Die of the Month—Birthday Bliss, the Stitched Die of the Month—Cross Stitch Nested Card Front and Tags, and the November Embossing Folder, Cascading Streamers (I love this one).

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. I’ve included my full disclosure below.

This month’s club theme is BIRTHDAYS and, in particular, children’s birthdays.  So, all you grandmas out there, get ready for some creative fun.  Or, if you have little ones, help them make fun cards to share with their friends.

With turtles, alligators, and car-driving frogs, it’s going to be a fun-filled celebration all month long.

How to Create the Spellbinders Birthday Bliss Die Cut Card:

Products Used:

Start by creating a top folding A2 sized white card base:  4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″.

Next, cut a piece of Rainforest cardstock 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″, spritz both sides with water, and emboss with the cascading Streamers Embossing Folder.

Then, once dry, attach it to the card front.

Spellbinders Birthday Bliss Die Cut Card – Adding the Border.

Start by die-cutting the largest of the stitched borders from the Stitched Die of the Month Kit.

Next, add the stitching using DMC Cotton #3811 which matches the Rainforest background.

Then, add strips of foam tape to the back of the frame and attach it to the card.

Adding the art Elements:

Start by picking 3 – 4 bright, happy colors and then die-cut the turtle and balloon pieces.  Glue them together.

Next, using a #10 Sakura Gelly Pen, add some white highlights.

Then, add foam squares to the back and attach to the card front.
