Spellbinders Breezy Swing

It’s been a very crazy week around here trying to get caught up after a lovely vacation.  Today I’m sharing the final Club Kit of the Month for August.  The Small Die of the Month Kit is Spellbinders Breezy Swing and after making this card, I really think this is my favorite Club Kit this month.

I’m using a pack of pattern paper from my stash and went to town die cutting all the pretty pieces.  I did copic color her hair, and the swing, but everything else is quick and easy die cuts.

The paper pack is called Carta Bella Flower Garden and you can get it at Scrapbook.com.  It has so many pretty matching papers it makes die cutting this entire image so easy.

How to create the Spellbinders Breezy Swing Card:

Start by die cutting all the pieces needed from the Carta Bella Flower Garden bundle.

Next, create a white card base:  5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ Hammermill White, score and fold at 4-1/4″.

Then, cut a background pattern paper 4″ x 5-1/4″ and attach to the card front.

Spellbinders Breezy Swing Card – Putting it all together.

Start by using the fine tip Bearly Art glue to glue all the pieces together.

Next, cut the hair from white cardstock and color it with Copic Markers:  Y23 – YR14, YR27.  I was a strawberry blond back in the day, so I decided to make her one too.

Then, For the swing:  Cut the pieces from Kraft cardstock and color with copics:  E35, E33, E37.

Finally, mount all the pieces to the card front.  Cut out a bunch of flowers and leaves from more pattern paper to embellish.

Add the sentiment, from the August Clear Stamp and Die Set of the month – Happy Hello Floral stamped in brown ink on white cardstock and cut out with the coordinating dies.
