Spellbinders Celestial Zodiac Collection

Hi cardmaking friends.  Today I have some new cards to share created with the Spellbinders Celestial Zodiac Collection.  This collection came out at the beginning of the month, and of course I was unpacking, so I’m doing a little catch up here.

This release has everything you want to create cards for your Astrology loving friends.  Star embossing folder, star stencil, a set of moon stencils, and a glimmer plate Star and sentiment set for every zodiac sign.  WOW right.  And it’s all GLIMMER FOIL  which really makes it pop

Spellbinders Celestial Zodiac Collection

My first card starts with a background of the Pisces and Aquarius star patterns silver foiled onto dark blue card stock

Next, create a moon with Gansai Tambi watercolor and let dry

Silver Glimmer Foil a sentiment from the Celestial Sentiments set and cut out with the Standard Circles Dies.

Cut a vellum circle with the next size up die to add to the background to soften the transition.

Attach to a top folding A2 sized White card base.

For the second card, I used embossing paste with the new Star Bright Stencil to create the background.

Next, I Silver glimmer foiled the Pisces star cluster onto the watercolor moon.

I again cut another vellum circle to mat behind the moon and the Silver foiled the sentiment with the dates.

I think this makes a great masculine birthday card, or a card for anyone who loves astronomy.

Your PICES card color is a great sky and ocean bleu. I sent something similar to my nephew.
The vellum cercle add a distanciation from earth to sky or vice versa.
    BEAUTIFUL as usual Sandi
Take care of yourself, so we can enjoy you creation.
    Merci
    Yolande
