Spellbinders February 2025 Large Die of the Month

Hi, card-making friends, and welcome back.  It’s the 6th of the month, and that means all the Spellbinders Clubs are now live for you to order from.  I’m starting the month with the Spellbinders February 2025 Large Die of the Month.  I also used the new Petite Bow 3D embossing folder, and I had to take an up-close photo just to show you how pretty this is.

The large Die of the Month club kit filled up two magnetic cards for me.  There are so many cute dies.  It’s called Dancin Hoppy Bunnies Everywhere, and there are bunnies, but I got really focused on the egg painting as you can tell, haha…It was one of my most favorite Easter activities as a kid.  This die cut version however, is a little less messy, haha….

How to create the Spellbinders February 2025 Large Die of the Month Card.

Start with a white A2 sized top folding card base 4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″.

Next, cut a matching white card front 4″ x 5-1/4″ and emboss with the Petite Bow embossing folder (shown up close below).  Attach it to the card front.

Then, die cut the egg, paint, paint can and paint brush for the four different colored eggs.  I used a light and dark of each egg color, Silver cardstock for the paint can and the top of the paint brush and a dark brown for the handle of the paint brush and the bristles.

Finally, glue all of the elements together and attach them in the four corners of the card using foam squares to add some dimension.

Check out the 3D embossed image in the above photo, it’s so adorable with the lattice and the adorable little bows.

Add the Sentiment:

There are a couple of sentiments included in this huge die set, with a wavy banner shape.  Cut it out of one of the egg colors and add it to the center of the card.

Embellishing:  This is a super busy card, with lots of elements.  I cut out all the rest of them, and dry fit them onto the card, but it was too much.  I did have to add that adorable little birdy though, and just a few flowers.
