Hey there and welcome back. Today I have three cards to share with you created with the NEW Spellbinders Gnome for Christmas release. I’m guessing, you guessed there would be gnomes involved in this one, haha, and there are for sure. So many cute little gnomes. Also, some wonderful embossing folders and stamps to create pretty backgrounds for the gnomes too. I played with quite a few of them which I will list above each card and then the entire release is listed at the end of this post for you.

I had so much fun playing with this set. I love gnomes and the die cuts are super easy to put together. Non-traditional Christmas colors seem to be in this year, so I’m jumping on that wagon. Spellbinders cardstocks used for today’s projects: White, Pink Sand, Waterfall, Peridot, Mirror Gold and the new Pop Up Die Cutting Glitter Foam. Have you tried this stuff yet? It’s totally amazing. Check out the little decorations the gnomes are holding, and the Merry and the star, all the new foam. Grab yourself a couple of packs, you are going to love die cutting with this stuff.
Ok, just so you know, i HATE glitter. there is NO GLITTER in my studio. but I love this stuff…
Gnome for Christmas slimline Card:
Be Bold Black – Merry Christmas
Circle Illusion Embossing Folder
Gold Pop Up Die Cutting Glitter Foam
Purple Pop Up Die Cutting Glitter Foam
Green, pink and blue Pop Up Die Cutting Glitter Foam
I actually made this card 3rd but I loved it so much I had to post it first. Using the Be Bold Block Merry Christmas from last year for my background.
Start by die cutting all the letters in Christmas and gluing them down to a 3-3/4″ x 8-3/4″ piece of white cardstock.
Next, trim as close as you can and then place inside the Circle Illusion Embossing Folder and run through the die cutting machine to quilt it. (doesn’t it look quilted, I love it).
Finally, mount this to white card base measuring 8 x 9, score on the 8″ side at 4″. Use Foam squares to attach the card front.
Next, die cut the gnomes using the bottom row on the Gnome Tree Die Set, and decorations and attach them to the center bottom of the card.
TIP – I used a variety of colors of the Pop Up Die Cutting Glitter Foam for the bobbles on the garland.
Gnome for Christmas Gnome Tree Card
Crystal Mix Color Essentials Gems
Start with a 4 x 5-1/4 piece of white cardstock inside the Argyle Socks Embossing Folder. Run it through the die cutting machine.
Next, attach a 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 piece of Waterfall cardstock to the front of a top folding A2 sized card base. Then attach the white embossed piece.
Then, die cut the entire tree from white cardstock. Glue the outside frame down to another piece of white cardstock. This is the base you will create on.
Finally, die cut all the little gnomes from different colors of cardstock and attach to the base. Use the white pieces from the first cut to fill in the background.
Next, die cut the arms, feet and noses and attach
Die cut the embellishments from the Glitter Foam and mirror gold cardstock.
Finally, I didn’t add a sentiment, it’s pretty self explanatory what the card is about and there is plenty of room on the inside for one.
Gnome for Christmas Holly Jolly Gnome Card 3
Die cut all the gnome pieces and glue them all together.
Next cut a piece of Peridot 3-3/4 x 5. Place inside the Argyle Socks Embossing Folder and run it through the Die cutting Machine.
Then, attach it to a piece of Mirror gold, 3-7/8 x 5-1/8 before attaching to a White A2 sized top folding card base.
Finally, use foam squares to attach the gnome and bow.
Embellish with Crystal Mix Color Essential Gems.
TIP – you can make this gnome swing back and forth.
