Hi card making friends and welcome back.  Today I have some fun Spellbinders Happy Hour Martini Cards to share with you.  This new release is full of cocktail fun from a cocktail glass BetterPress background plate, 2 different shapes of glasses, three different themes of decorative dies, a beautiful set of decorative rectangles dies and an amazing set of sentiments that all foil/BetterPress and cut out at once.

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. See below for my full disclosure.

This is a fabulous bundle for Christmas, Halloween, Girls Night Out, or just a fun card for your bestie.  Also great for invitations to parties, or to celebrate accomplishments.  The Cheers Sentiments BetterPress Plates have 12 different sentiments to celebrate birthday, Christmas, Halloween, New Year, and of course, Happy Hour.

Spellbinders Happy Hour Martini Cards – The Pink Lady

I made this card for a friend going through some stuff….she loves pink flamingos, she loves to make fancy drinks, and she is a blingy girl, so the bubbles in the glass are all silver rhinestones.

Start by die cutting the card front with the Perfect  Touch Rectangles and Tag dies.

Next, Use the Layered Classy Glasses Press plate and Gold Foil it onto the card front.  Then, ink blend with Simon Says Stamp Bubblegum and Sweets Pawsitively Saturated Inks, before attaching to a top folding white A2 sized card base.  4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″.

Then, die cut all the pieces for the martini using the Olive Martinis and Tropical Flair Die sets.  Ink blend the liquid part of the glass with the same pink inks before taping in place.

PRO-TIP – I die cut the martini glass twice out of white cardstock.  One to build on top of, and the other as the overlay.

Finally, add all the embellishments, including the gold bow which was cut from the Christmas Cocktails Die set and the sentiment, gold foiled using the Cheers Sentiments.

Spellbinders Happy Hour Martini Cards – Drink Up Witches

These would be so fun to send out as Halloween party invitations.

Start by die cutting the card front with the Perfect  Touch Rectangles and Tag dies.

Next, ink blend the card front with Distress Oxide Inks in Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, Wilted Violet and Black Soot.  Splatter with water and dry then splatter with gold and white paint and dry again before attaching to a top folding white A2 sized card base.

Next, using the Olive Martinis and Boos! Cocktails Die sets, cut out all the pieces for the drink and embellishments.  (the eyeballs kill me, haha).

PRO-TIP – for the skeletons, cut one in black and one in white.  Put tape on the back of the black one so the eye and nose pieces don’t fall out.  Punch out the eyes and nose from the white one and glue it on top of the black one.

For the drink portion of this glass, I ink blended in Twisted Citron and Peacock Feathers, then I sprayed the piece with Pixie Spray and sprinkled glitter of it.  Let it dry and then tape it to the backside of the black glass outline.

Next, glue all the pieces together and attach to the card front with foam tape to add a bit of dimension.

Then, add the embellishments and this time the sentiment is gold glimmer foiled on black cardstock.
