How to create the Spellbinders House Mouse Holiday Cards.

Start with a hammermill white cardbase 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, score and fold at 4-1/4″.

Next, cut a card front 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ from Schoolhouse Red cardstock and attach to the card base.

Then, on a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Hammermill White, use the Misti stamping tool to stamp the image.

Finally, Color with copic markers.

Then, use the Essential Arches dies to cut out the art piece.  Next, cut a gold arch one size bigger. Mount the two together and attach to the card front with foam tape.

Embellish by covering the candy canes with Glossy Accents.  Set aside to dry for at least 30 minutes.

Place the image back into the misti and stamp the sentiment above the image.

Then, cut a piece of pink cardstock for the card front 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ and attach to a top folding A2 sized card base (same as in card 1 but with the fold at the top).

Finally, attach with strong tape.

  1. Your cards are just too cute. I especially like the candy cane and the mice. I have loved House Mouse Designs for years and years.
