Spellbinders Hydrangea Bouquet

Hi card making friends and a very Happy New Year to you. May the new year be full of good health and happiness to all. Today being the first of the month there are all new SPELLBINDERS CLUB KITS and my share today are some cards created with the Spellbinders Hydrangea Bouquet Jan 23 Clear Stamp Set for this month.

This stamp set is so beautiful I could not wait to sit down and color it. I added a background of the NEW Stylized Trellis Embossing Folder of the month behind one of the images and the second image has something new behind it. Spellbinders has revamped a few of the clubs, and this is the NEW Floral Archway 3D Embossing Folder of the month. I’m excited for this new club as I LOVE to use embossing folders in my backgrounds.  They add so much interest with very little work or bulk to your card.

Spellbinders Jan 23 Floral Archway 3-D Embossing Folder Cards:

Card 3, the purple card on the right is a clean and simple version of the second card.

Start by using the new Floral Archway 3D Embossing Folder to emboss the card front in light purple.

Attach it to a top folding white A2 Sized card base and run the white pigment ink pad over it.

Then, use the Simply Perfect Mix and Match Sentiment dies to cut out Happy Birthday

Pro-TIP – cut the sentiment 3 times:  twice in white and once in Gold.  Glue them together letting the gold one offset slightly at the back.  This adds depth and interest to the sentiments.
